Mike Young
Welcome to my home page. I've been teaching courses in astronomy, geology and physics at Westfield State since 1984 (resumé). In Fall 2009 I'm putting course materials for current classes into the MyWestfield portal, but you'll find syllabi and other resources for courses I've taught over the past several years via the links along the left side of the page. I'm currently on the Board of Directors of the Westfield River Watershed Association, and am also an active hiker, cyclist and skier, having hiked all 48 of the 4000-ft peaks in New Hampshire between 1997 and 2000. In the summer of 2003 my wife and I started working on the list for the Adirondacks (currently we've hiked 34 of the 46 "official" 4000-ft summits there).

Fall, 2009 Schedule

Physics I lab: T 12:45-3:35
Physics I lab: W 1:40-4:30
